Since the latest update, to the version/build in the picture, Firefox doesn't lift up text boxes that are at the bottom of a page when I tap into them, resulting the the keyboard covering them. I can still type into them, but I can't see anything there, so to make any edits I have to close the keyboard, tap into the text, hope I've gotten the right spot, and count the backspaces, rather than selecting words or watching to know when it's correct.

Verifying account sign-in on an Android:phone is a nightmare, especially in 5 minutes. I think I managed to do it on my second try, but quite honestly, I don't have a clue what I did. Steps need much clearer documentation and/or user interface. As I remember it, after you sent me the 6(?) digit code and I copy it, I can't find the sign in form I need to use to enter the verification code. Navigation back to Firefox via my app icons takes me to a page with many, many choices... and clicking sign-in in the menu gives me a page wanting me to scan something with my phone's camera... and there's no clear path to resuming the sign-in process. It is very confusing. I must have signed in, because here I am, but I'm not sure how. My Galaxy s9 phone uses android 10. When I was looking for navigational help, your help search function couldn't help me find any of the terms I tried seearch for.

dane w tle: 49,59 GB,

dane w pierwszym planie: 14 MB.

Pozdrawiam, Tomek

Hello, I’d like to report a very unusual issue with Firefox on Android. During the night from October 18 to 19 (around 23:00–06:00), Firefox used 49.6 GB of mobile data, even though my phone was locked and unused.

There were no videos, downloads, or active tabs running. According to Android’s data usage details:

Background data: 49.59 GB

Foreground data: 14 MB

Firefox version: 144.0 (Android) System: Android 11 RKQ1.200826.002 Phone: Redmi K20 Pro Professional Firefox account is synced with my desktop browser. No unusual add-ons are installed.

I’ve attached a screenshot showing the data usage statistics.

Could you please help identify what process could cause such massive background data consumption? Maybe a synchronization loop, cache download, or PWA / service worker issue?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards, Tomek

New version 144.0 just arrived and a bad surprise for me. I'm often using the shortcuts in the start page, but these are limited now to the first 8 icons and can not be scrolled. To see the others I need to click on Show All. This seems to me as a very bad update Up through Firefox Android 143 Shortcuts on the new tab page could be quickly side-scrolled, but that appears to be removed in 144, which I find significantly more clumsy. Please restore the prior behavior, at least and I hope it will be corrected Thank you. and copy and paste is broken on android mobile (Sorry I had to blur sole of my pint shortcuts)

I am in Toronto Canada!!! For decades!!! (Have traveled occasionally to Paris Italy New York Buffalo.) But, for years Moronic Firefox has "INSISTED" that I'm in Australia and won't be changed!!! Despite endless (and often only marginally relevent)setup options, this very fundamental piece of "search" information appears 'immune' to human/user change. If the option to address this is, in fact, available, it has been superbly buried! Despite my long-term preference for Firefox for a number of reasons, I give up! And will -sadly- delete Firefox unless a sane USER-FRIENDLY solution is immediately available. Best wishes, JLR

But maybe also looking into something like a system, that puts certain tabs that haven't been used for a long time into something like a sleep mode?

When I connect my Bluetooth earbuds to watch a video on Firefox browser it works fine. But when I disconnect my Bluetooth ear buds the video stops playing and cannot be played through the phone anymore.
