When I start firefox it apologises for not being able to open the previous tabs, perhaps due to one of the tabs that was open before.

But when I tell it to have another go it always succeeds.

So why can't it do it the first time? Is the problem my end or is there a bug?

(FF all versions, Ubuntu 12.04)

Sounds that Firefox has crashed.
