I have Firefox and it is locking up, freezing and crashing when I open it. Non responsive scripts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Disabled graphics accelerator, Reset to default through Firefox troubleshooting information.. IT still is not working. Never had a problem like this on other computers. I only have java and adobe installed and all up to date. Still does it in safe mode also. What steps can I take to resolve this issue. Thanks for any help

Here is my error code. A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: http://col.stj.s-msn.com/br/sc/js/jquery/jquery-1.4.2.min.js:75

Have you tried all the troubleshooting steps in the article that explains that error.

You may also want to try safe mode and see if a addon or hardware acceleration is causing the script not to respond

I am still having issues. I did the ""Enter integer value prompt, type 20"" and it worked a couple times. Yet it freezes and then the site comes up after like 10 seconds. This is still an issue. the site is www.msn.com I mean freezing up on this is unacceptable. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Safe mode does not work. Is there anything else I can do or no?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
