When I load a Craig's list ad with (image) by dragging and dropping to open a new tab and then click on the tab the image associated with the ad instantaneously disappears and then returns. Not a horrible problem but is annoying. Firefox 25.01

You're dragging the link to the tab bar and dropping it?

I'm not sure why the image would blink that way. Could you try to replicate the problem in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?

It does not do what I described in safe mode with add ons disabled. I will try restarting each add on in turn to determine which add on seems to be the culprit. Thanks for your help. Should have done this anyway but thought maybe someone else was having a similar issue.

Hi hickoryshirt, I've seen people suggest doing half at a time: disable half the extensions, restart and test. If it's fixed, it's one of those, otherwise, it's one of the other half, etc. This should be faster than turning each one on and off individually.
