When I open up a site like facebook, there is a window that asks if I want to save password and gives two options, save or not now. How do I disable this window?

If you disable the Firefox Password Manager then you shouldn't get the pop-up to remember passwords.

Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: [] "Remember passwords for sites"
