how do i disable downloads form getting saved directly

every time i click on an attachement, it gets directly saved to download folder without the option - open with or save . i want the browser to ask me whether i will like to only open or save the attached file. how do i do this

You can delete the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox Profile Folder to reset all file actions.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder
