I am using Firefox 3.6.26>OS 10.4.11>G5 Mac I use to be able to watch as a website was loading along the bottom of the web page, ie transfering data:I miss this feature. Please tell me how to get it back.

Firefox 4+ versions no longer have the Status bar, but show those messages in a floating bar at the bottom.

Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a Mac with a PowerPC processor.
Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For an unofficial Firefox 10 compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on PowerPC Macs with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:
