How do I reset the saved information I type into blanks that allows shortcuts (i.e. email address login, etc.)?

For example, I typed my user name into a login window (blank box to fill in information), and I accidentally typed my password into this window. Therefore, whoever goes to this website and types words in the blank will be able to see my password. I simply need to delete the information saved in firefox for these blank boxes. I do not want to reset all my preferences or be forced to uninstall firefox altogether.

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

Firefox will remember new form data when entered.
