How can I disable an Alert that indicates:"The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded".

This Alert frequently pops up even after I've accessed a valid URL site on Firefox. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 clicks to close the Alert window.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

In the references in the Reply, there was no indication of removing the "Alert Window". I hesitate to make any changes in Safe Mode until I know for sure that I am dealing with the problem.
