"regular expression too complex" javascript error appears often after installing 4.0

often when I attempt to load a page I get a javascript error that says "regular expression too complex" After clicking OK, the page loads. I have just updated to 4.0

That doesn't sound like an error that would normally occur on a lot of pages... Do you have AdBlock (Plus), or any Greasemonkey userscripts, or any similar add-ons that customize sites? I wonder whether one of those might have some faulty logic.
