Cannot print anything from the browser
When I click print for something in the browser (like a Mapquest map), I get a dialog box <Save the file as> an *.xps file extension. When I cancel this dialog box, I get one that says <Printer Error>.

Sounds like you don't have your physical printer selected, but instead have a "virtual" printer selected.
