Websites open too slow
Ever since the last update or two when I click on links to open websites, it renders a white screen and I see waiting at the bottom. It takes forever for websites to open. I have toggled acceleration on and off, disabled Windows 11 Efficiency Mode and nothing is working. I am a web developer and I really need websites to open. They open quickly in Chrome but not Firefox after the update and I may need to start using Chrome.

Make sure it's not your VPN or antivirus/phishing/malware protection that's stalling the secure connections (or turn off their "safe web" or "https scanning" features).
Sorry I didn't a notification that you replied. The only application on my computer is Windows Defender. This slowness doesn't happen in Chrome. And I don't have VPN running either. It's really strange prior to those last updates before June, things opened up really fast. I still have the problem now and it's October. I really love Firefox in my work but I think I might need to go 100% with Chrome if I can't speed it up.
Since Windows Defender and no VPN are involved, the issue might be related to Firefox's built-in DNS over HTTPS (DoH) bottlenecking secure handshakes, or a corrupted session state. Try toggling DoH off in Settings > Privacy & Security or testing it in Troubleshooting Mode (Help > Troubleshoot Mode...) to see if the render delay disappears.
OMG! I could kiss you! Thanks so much. I switched it Off and they're opening right away now.
