I liked my search box functioning like it did before the last update...can you please revert it back to the way it was please or give us the option to change it back. Why mess with perfection???...thank you. (149.0 64bit currently)

Hello, Here is a way to fix it :

Method 1 : Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click "Accept the Risk and Continue". Search for: browser.search.widget.new. Double-click the preference to set it to false. Restart Firefox

Method 2 : (older method) Set browser.search.showOneOffButtons to false in about:config to disable the one-off search buttons.

Hello

The preference, browser.search.showOneOffButtons, does not exist.
