Instruction for saving a bookmark "To bookmark a page, just click on the star in the address bar." does not work. Nothing happens.

All of a sudden I cannot save bookmarks. Neither the instruction "To bookmark a page, just click on the star in the address bar." or using the "Bookmark Current tab..." in the Bookmarks menu do anything. Trying either method just sits there and does nothing.

Have you completely restarted the OS if it is Windows?

Windows 10 22H2 Firefox 149.0

I have completely shut down and restarted my computer. Still will not store bookmarks.
