Why do I suddenly need Chrome in order to access my Gmail account?
I have an old Laptop which works perfectly for what I need, and I use Firefox for my Browser.
I had to shutdown my Laptop and everything seemed Ok on reboot. However, I can no longer access my Gmail account as I apparently "need Chrome" to get access...?
Do I? If so - how do I get it installed on my system?
Thank you

Hi there, I don't see having any issues with gmail working. Could you add a screenshot with what message you're getting?
I am no longer getting the Cookies not running - Install Chrome error message. Not sure why...
1. I registered for the "Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for Windows 10" program. 2. Logged into my Google account and selected my Gmail account - and got in.
However, the next few times I tried - I got the same error message and had to log into Google. - then select Gmail.
Today I was able to go directly to Gmail with not problems logging in. ????
Thank you!
So it seems the problem you were facing is now solved? I haven't heard of that error before, I don't think it's related with the fact that you register yourself with the ESU program.
Nevertheless, if you see the issue re-appearing, post a reply here.
