Good morning, after every opening of thunderbird I find in the local folders a new folder with the extension .msf-1.compact-backup I don't want to have this new folder every time I start thunderbird How can I solve it?

Se non contiene nulla che ti interessi, eliminala. Sono archivi che Thunderbird genera quando incontra degli errori di accesso ad un file. Potrebbero però anche essere un indice di qualche problema sul disco, di qualche interferenza di software terzo e anche di un archivio diventato eccessivamente grande. Per cui prima di ogni altra operazione ti conviene fare un backup -> https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/profili-thunderbird#w_effettuare-una-copia-di-sicurezza-del-profilo
