What makes you think that PB mode is active?

Make sure you close Firefox give the browser enough time to close down properly before you close down the computer.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File -> Exit
  • Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File -> Quit

You can check "History -> Restore Previous Session" and "History -> Recently Closed Windows/Tabs".
