Hello

On some website (example : https://tasmota.github.io/docs/Commands/ ) the "find in page" search field will just vanish in the middle of typing or while pressing the up/down arrow to go through findings.

I can replicate the issue, but IMHO it's not something that would get fixes here. I would search for a bug or open one. ✌️🏿

Yes it has been like that for years including when you don't use the up or down arrow just as soon as you start typing in a word in the "find" box It will collapse the find box. Drives me crazy because I have to use the find box all the time to quickly find information in articles or pages online. literally encounter it two to three times a day.

On my new Xperia 1 VI running Android 14, the find stays on screen on the forum. 😅😅😅 Let me try another site.

It works. I think while trying to go the results, there's a fat finger issue that makes the find go away IMHO. 🤔🤔🤔 The difference between my phone screens is a half inch. XZ3 vs XPERIA 1 VI

jonzn4SUSE,

It's not all website that trigger the issue. The forum here has no problem on my side too.

You may try the link reported in bugzilla too:
