Hello, my name is Eldon Zerr. I have been using my gmail email through mozzila and thunderbird for many years. But suddenly it is not letting me log into my gmail through Mozilla and is giving me an "error 400" . I can get all my emails on the iphone, but not my Mac in the office. I did not get a VPN recently. I've had one for 2 or 3 years. This just happened one day. It just said that "The server could not process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That is all we know." It is on a windows 10 DELL laptop.

Disable your VPN. do you still get the error?

You need to enable cookies in your Thunderbird (Privacy & Security settings) Probably it will be enough to store it for accounts.google.com
