Chosen Solution

You can close Firefox like you normally do and then wait about thirty seconds to give Firefox enough time to save its data and then restart.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File -> Exit

You can also find a restart button on the about:profiles page. You can open "about:" pages via the location/address bar

  • "about:" is a protocol to access special pages
