How to set up Firefox Sync with my own Sync server?

I use my organization's own FFsync server and wanted to set up sync from a new Firefox installation.

There used to be a setting where I could determine what server I want to use for sync. In my current FF version I can't find this setting anymore.

Thanks for help in advance! AnkeB

Hello AnkeB,

Would you please take a look at :

https://mozilla-services.readthedocs.io/en/latest/howtos/run-fxa.html

And also :

https://github.com/mozilla-services/syncserver

Does that help  ?

Thanks! For me, the important part was:

"For desktop Firefox version 52 or later:

Enter “about:config” in the URL bar
Right click anywhere on the “about:config” page and choose New > String
Enter “identity.fxaccounts.autoconfig.uri” for the name, and your content-server URL for the value.
Restart Firefox for the change to take effect."

Thanks very much!

Best regards, Anke

My pleasure, Anke - have a nice day  !
