How do I disable "Nanny State" messages from your browser start page telling me to "take a break", "vote", etc?

A browser is a tool, not my mommy. On the Firefox startup page, I am told by my web browser of choice to "go take a break" (eat something healthy like an apple), I'm told how to protest political issues... reminded to register to vote and also reminded that mostly old people voted in the last election.

I don't want to see these political messages, or ANY life advice from my favorite web browser ever again. Just like I don't need my couch or my microwave to tell me what job to apply for.

How do I get rid of these ridiculous, obnoxious, over-reaching nanny state messages on the start page?

Chosen solution

Hi, open the 3-bar menu > Options > Home (Firefox Home Content) and deselect as you choose - 'Snippets' is a good place to start!
