An error has occurred when printing to pdf
When I print a web page, like from ebay after I've purchased something, I get an error box titled "Print Preview Error" and the message is "An error occurred while printing." I did not ask for a print preview, and only page 1 will print out of 4 pages. I am printing to PDF with PDFLite. I have updated to the latest version, have reset the printer properties in Firefox, made sure the settings include "shrink to fit," and followed the troubleshooting tips in several Mozilla Support pages. The page in question prints properly from another browser through PDFLite. Is there some incompatibility between Firefox and PDFLite? Is there another print-to-PDF application that is more compatible with Firefox running on a Windows 7 Pro PC? Thanks.

Please explore the PDFLite support pages as I have nothing on this program.
Firefox has PDF in it and can print from it also.
Find a extension that works with Firefox : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/

If you prefer an external program which creates a Windows printer, you could consider this one (open source):

If you prefer a Firefox add-on, there are several. I posted a roundup a few months ago, and by now there may be even more options...

I never used to get any printing errors in 32-bit Firefox. Since I switched to 64-bit Firefox, I do get them a few times a week and the only way I can get rid of them is to exit and restart Firefox. This is not convenient if you are trying to print a receipt! So far I have not figured out the pattern of what causes the problem on mine, but it may occur after resuming Windows from hibernation; that sometimes causes issues for Firefox.
