Video not able to play on instagram, shows white screen while audio plays
Running firefox 53.0.2 32-bit and shockwave flash player 25.0.0.148 on Windows 7
Problem playing videos on instagram page that show up as white screen, while audio plays.
Not sure how to troubleshoot this.

Videos are now able to play with no effort on my end.

Right-click the player. What kind is it? HTML5, flash . . . . .
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
