My Pocket button and "my saved list" button in bookmars are completely missing. I tried resetting my buttons by "set default" in UI settings but it didn't help.

extensions.pocket.enabled shows true extensions.xpiState shows false about:support shows Pocket 1.0.4 false

I don't want to reinstall firefox, create new profile etc. because I have lots of add-ons and don't want to reconfigure it again :/

I fixed the problem! I don't know if it was my fault or just some error with firefox caused it but I looked at ccleaner options and found "firefox extensions" tab. There was "pocket" set to disabled. I set it to enabled and button reappeared! I don't think I was the one who disabled it because I love and use this feature but who knows. Anyway - ccleaner solved my problem :)

Hi, I'm currently looking into this.

Do you know if you've done anything that might have disabled it? e.g. changed about:config entries, installed particular add-ons to disable Pocket?

I think I didn't change anything related to pocket in about:config because I used it regularly and didn't want to disable it. However I installed fat-free firefox to disable firefox hello, but I removed it after few days. It had option to disable pocket but i didn't use it.

I think that my problem with pocket started few days ago when I had strange thing with my firefox - after every PC reboot my firefox looked like it was just installed - blank skin, auto-opened tabs like "welcome to firefox" etc. I had to login to firefox sync to auto download bookmarks, but skin was still missing (probably because it is old and unreachable in firefox store) so I had to manually overwrite it with my old firefox profile folder. After this operation everything was fine - I could open and close firefox all day and nothing was missing. But if I shutdown or reboot my PC - everything was blank again. I think it was something with my antivirus (F-Secure) because after uninstalling it problem with resetting disappeared. It was strange because I had this antivirus for few months and never had any problems with it. Now i reinstalled my windows, installed F-Secure again and problem didn't appear again. Few days later I wanted to use pocket feature and I noticed that button is missing.

I think my firefox profile could use "a bit" of cleaning but I don't know what files I can remove safely without ruining all my settings, bookmarks, passwords etc. Currently my firefox profile folder occupies 140MB of disk space.

That fixed it for me! Man! What a pain that was.
