tabs open new untouchable firefox
Opening a new tab to do a new search opens a new window on the start menu bar but to actually use the new tabs I have to close all previous tabs to have any chance to use it. Bookmarks on left and above only work sometimes.

Tabs on top do not switch when clicked but closing them by clicking X does work. Pages on bottom do not select when clicked on only closing out previous top tabs does it allow to go to "that page". C Typing anything into the address bar does nothing. See Picture for more info

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
Nevermind. Obviously I'm not used to having tabs open with windows 10 when I am used to closing tabs on the top of the browser not have pages and pages of start menu tabs. I'm used to having multiple browsers open on the start bar not that it signifies how many tabs I have open.
Below to be determined.
Some function are fixed when started in safe mode, no idea about bookmarks because there are none. but the start box tabs remain and multiply as I open tabs above the address line. : (
