Opens single or multiple selected emails at once, in new windows. Will not stay in full screen, sends multiple copies.

If I select multiple emails for deletion it will open all of them in separate windows. Often deletes two at a time, window will not stay full-screen. Sends two copies at a time. Will not compact folders, says they are in use. Running Windows 7Sp1. All just re-loaded.

Hold shift while starting Thunderbird and continue in safe mode when prompted. Still an issue?

Have you checked the sensitivity of your mouse in the windows control panel, the last several people I have seen complain of multiple actions from one click had their mouse sensitivity set to high for their usage.
