I have been told by Paypal phone support that Firefox is not displaying as it should be. They said I need to change settings in my browser??? Anyone know what needs to be changed?

I have had trouble viewing my Paypal pages in the format they are supposed to be in. I contacted Paypal phone support. After some discussion we determined the Paypal pages I am seeing on Firefox are not the same as what they say I should be seeing. I tried to log-in through Internet Explorer. It would not let me in. They said I need to change my Firefox settings but did not tell me how???

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).


Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
