overview is added to URL
when I open Ridge View bank web site gets is added to the url "/overview" and causes a page not found . Actual url returned https://accountview.lpl.com/web/pagenotfound?URL=%2Foverview
This is the URL that is entered.: https://accountview.lpl.com
This only happens the first time the web site is accessed.
Closing the error page and reentering the url and the web page loads successfully. This will happen again after an elapsed time. Any one have any idea on where the "overview is coming from.?
I believe this started happening when I updated Firefox to 160.0b

Firefox 160 seems a bit random. Any reason you are in between versions?
If you haven't already, I would try clearing the web content cache in case a redirect has been retained in there. The following article has the steps: How to clear the Firefox cache.
If the redirect isn't cached, and you're not being selecting it on the address bar drop-down, is it autofilling inside the address bar? By default, in-URL-bar autofill doesn't add anything beyond the third /, but there is a setting in about:config that could cause a fuller URL to appear (in case you might have modified any settings in there). In that case, you may want to open the Library window (Ctrl+Shift+H) and remove the invalid URL from your history.
I thank you JSCher2000 but your solutions didn't help. I tried this morning to open theBank page and again "/overview" was added to the url.
Same thing happens to me sometimes. I think the bank’s site just redirects you to “/overview” after you land on the page, so it may not be anything you’re doing wrong. Have you tried a different browser or a private window? If it still adds it, I’d contact the bank’s support and tell them exactly what you’re seeing.
Sorry you have same problem. I got the overview added after a long time between firefox starts, usually first start of the day. Just installed Duck and worked fine. I have contacted the Bank they had no idea. Thanks for responding, Jag
Since I don't have an account, when I test, the site always points me to https://accountview.lpl.com/web/login.
If you guys are not signing out when you're done with the site, I suggest doing that.

Are you using version 160.0b2. and this problem only occurs after a few hours of unuse of firefox or over night. So are you saying just closing the forum window does not log you out??
I have 158.0b5 on a lap top and the page loaded with out the page not found. Now the laptop has been updated to 160.0b2 but will have to wait a period of time before the problem might occur. ii will keep you posted tomorrow.
I am not sure why but the problem has stopped. Maybe because i am now at 160.0b3 version now.
