can I downgrade to an earlier version
Since the last update with the light purple background my firefox keep on freeze. Please i want to go back to the version before August 2026. I still run win 10 and can't afford a new laptop at this moment. Please help.

STEP BY STEP PLEASE!
Make sure to back up any profile data like bookmarks and passwords as older versions won't be compatible with your current profile, settings and addons so you'll have to start fresh.
On firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr you pick your platform and language, and download the ESR version from there, which is based on this year's July release.
