Bookmark Bar doesn't display bookmarks

Although I have my Bookmarks Toolbar set to "Always Show," none of the bookmarks are visible (and therefore, they're not functional, either). I have tried refreshing Firefox (it just hangs on "almost done") and downloaded /reinstalled the application. I have no idea what to try next (Mac Desktop).

SOLVED! I deleted the plist from the Library Preferences and all is functioning again.
