website loads in private window not in regular window
This is a weird one for me. Firefox 142.0.1 Windows 10 Pro 22H2 AdBlock Plus and NoScript as add-ons
https://tvlistings.gracenote.com/grid-affiliates.html?aid=tribnyc2dl
shows me as automatically logged into the site but will not load the TV listings for me in a normal window.
But if I use the same link in a private window it asks for my user name and password then shows the TV listings and continues to work as it always has.
What could possibly cause this? Has only happened for the last 4 days.

Thank you very much for your detailed response!
Could you please clarify, what exactly you see instead of TV listings? I tried to reproduce the issue, but for me it seems to work fine in a regular window.

Hi,
We're sorry to hear that the page doesn't work as expected. In order to look for the root cause, please follow the steps below and provide us with more information to troubleshoot your issue.
- Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield
icon at the left of the address bar.
- If ETP is enabled, try disabling it. Does the problem persist?
- If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache. Does it help?
- If it does not help, also try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website). Does it help?
- If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Does the problem persist?
Looking forward to your update!
Hi Denys, thanks for the reply, here are the answers
1. yes enhanced tracking protection is on, disabled it and same original outcome in both private and regular windows
2. clearing cache does not help
3. clearing cookies does not help
4. works the same in troubleshoot mode tried all these tests in both regular and private windows
The only thing I see different is that in a Firefox private window I have to sign in to the website whereas in a regular window I am logged in automatically.
Tried in Chrome too in a regular window and once I had entered the email and password and told Chrome to remember them I closed Chrome, waited a while, then started Chrome and reloaded the website and it took me straight to the page already logged in all working well.
That's why I am stumped this has never happened before on any website. It just happens in Firefox and only on that website.

This is weird, today the listings are working again. I guess it was probably on their end that the problem started. Pity that they do not seem to have a forum for their viewers only the people they get $$ from.
Thank you for the help and testing methods. Have a great day.
