There is no firewall, antivirus, or internet problem. I can connect just fine on Edge and Chrome as can every other device in my household. This is a brand new computer straight from best buy, no settings toggled, registry edits, or anything fancy. I don't see any reason for this to be happening except for the fact that there was a problem transferring my profile files. I did everything the Profile transfer guide from the Mozilla guide said to do. And everything works, my bookmarks, extensions, and settings are all in-tact except pages are not loading. I've tried going to Google, Google apps, and various other websites that do not load. I have no idea what to do. I need this urgently as I have to bring this computer to work soon. I use Firefox as my main browser and if it can't even load a page I'm in big trouble.

Please do not reply with a cookie cutter answer. Thanks.

EDIT: The problem mysteriously disappeared as soon as I posted the question, as all things do when I try to resolve problems with my electronics. Uh thanks mysterious aurora!

However, the issue solved itself. All I did was wait ~3 minutes and the page loaded. After the initial load, all other webpages loaded just fine which is extremely odd, but it works. So anyone who is or was in the same situation for me, just input a search term and wait until the page loads. It will eventually.

Hi cartonofmilk12, in case you didn't already see the cookie cutter answer, it's here: Websites don't load - troubleshoot and fix error messages.

I'm not sure exactly what you migrated; some files may be more problematic than others.

If you migrated over your prefs.js file, try setting the old one aside and letting Firefox create a new one with default settings. I realize that's not where you want to end up, but if that helps, we can get a little more focused.

I copied the contents of my old profiles folder and pasted them into the new profiles folder, replacing all the files.
