Using cmd-tilde on Mac to change front viewed page no longer works under Tahoe. Any workaround?

Using cmd-tilde keys on MacBook Pro to change front viewed page no longer works reliably under Tahoe. Any workaround? Also, Firefox sometimes freezes Navigation between programs, and the only way to navigate is to quit Firefox. I'm on Tahoe 26.4 MacBook Pro 2023 M2 Max. Thanks.
