What happens under a different user account?

Tried the system's "Guest" account -- no change. The same tab-crashes occur, on the same websites, as follows: 1) https://wolfstreet.com/ 2) https://www.moonofalabama.org/ 3) https://knowingtreejourney.com/ 4) https://9to5linux.com/ 5) https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/ There might be more -- idk yet. Thanks for looking into this!

X11 or wayland? Try downloading a different version of Firefox and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/

XFCE4-Desktop running the X11-Session, not wayland. These tab-crashes started after the FF upgrade from version 145.0.1 to 145.0.2 on Dec. 3, 2025.

Yeah, 145 has been very very painful. Which is why I'm more in Nightly and Waterfox. I even tried to run Troubleshoot mode, but the process just hangs and I have to kill the process. I'm on KDE and seeing the same issues. I have better experience on my 2012 mac running esr that is synced and running the same add-ons. I digress...  ;-))
