Hi jacquelinewurn

Click the Start Button Type Firefox into the search bar When you see the Mozilla Firefox app/program > Right-click on that In the menu that pops up, click on "Open file location". Right-click on the Firefox shortcut icon in that folder. Choose "Send to" and then select "Desktop (create shortcut)".

OR

Navigate to installation location

   C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\

or

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\ (If you have a 64-bit Windows)

In the folder, find the main program file, firefox.exe (it should have the Firefox icon). Right-click on firefox.exe. Choose "Send to" and select "Desktop (create shortcut)"
