When I click on Get Messages, nothing happens. The Get Messages icon blinks momentarily but nothing else. When I go to File->Get New Messages for either all accounts or for jmcarron@starstream.net, the dialog box disappears but nothing else.

Additional information: Older versions of Thunderbird worked fine and did not have the problem described above. It was only with Ubuntu 24.04 and TB 115.14.0 that the problem manifested itself.

If I have to revert to a previous version of TB, which version would be best, and where would be the best place to get it?
