Hi, is there a way to disable, or even better, remove entirely, the Google translate bar that is shown on some pages? See attachment. The image is from the following page: https://support.plex.tv/articles/share-and-report/

I have tried to modify 'browser.translations' related settings in 'about:config' page, but no luck so far. If I open the same link in Edge, page is shown without the bar.

Using Win 11 + Firefox 129.0.1.

Hi! I am not entirely sure if this works (I am not a Firefox employee, just a fellow user), but you can try going to settings --> general --> language --> set alternatives and then make sure “Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read” is unchecked. If that doesn't work, try going to settings --> Add-ons and Themes --> Extensions and then find the Google Translate extension and then select “Disable” or “Remove”. Don't forget to restart firefox afterwards too. Hope this helps! :)

You probably need a content blocking extension as this is a feature offered by the website.

You can look at uBlock Origin.
