Thunderbird latest version jumping lines
To support,
Trying to upload a video of what Thunderbird does.
Can you send me an e-mail where I can provide you with it.
The video is self explanatory

You mean when you scroll the message list?
When I delete a selected email. It for a reason I don't understand will jump forward. Then I have to scroll back to where I was to continue
I tried to forward you a short video that would be self explanatory but your system only accepts images and would be useless.
Also ran Thunderbird in troubleshooting mode. both with and without any add-on and it still does it.
Hope this can help
Also found it very confusing to be able to contact support.
I had to search quite a bit to find you. That would be great to make it simpler

In Thunderbird Help > Get Help This is a direct link to the forum.

When you delete email is that email in an unthreaded list ? Do you sort by date descending ? newest at top ? When you delete email does it jump back up to the top or a random position ?
There sorted alphabetically and by date. Oldest on top and newer one at the bottom respecting the alphabetical order
So I delete the oldest to keep the most recent.
then I scroll down to another email and delete the older one and then it jumps forward 20 lines or so alphabetically going from say A to G. Then I have to scroll back up to where I was A.
This has happened multiple times
I expect some fixes in this area in approx two weeks
To support,
Thunderbird is better, but it is still jumping lines when I delete messages.
Just letting you know that it is still acting up
Thanks

Try pressing F1 in Thunderbird. It is the default windows key for "help" and directs you to this web site. It is also references on the "help" menu in Thunderbird.

Unfortunately there are still issues, so there is another patch which is being completed now and should be in 115 within two weeks.
