I have Firefox Browser version 112.0.1 (64-bit). Firefox says that there is a new update. In order to install the new update it is required to have Administrator privileges in the computer. Until now, to update Firefow, Administrator privileges were not required.

Make sure your Security software is blocking updates as well. If this isn't your computer then you need to ask the owner of the computer to update it.

Installing Firefox does not seem to require administrator privileges. Using the standard user will give the same result. This is how Firefox developers designed it.
