FF 102.1 ESR lost automatic update
Good morning:
I'm using FF 102.1.0 ESR (portable) on a USB stick. I had to manually install 102 from 91 ESR because automatic updates stopped working. Worked perfect until then. Version 102.2 is available. See attached screen shot.
I seem to be in charge of defining policies and I don't have a clue! I suspect I have to provide a URL so that automatic updates will work again.
I'm hoping someone can provide answers or point me in the direction of a location that has some.
thanks Norbert

There isn't an automatic update possible at this moment from 91 ESR to the next 102 ESR, but updating from from 102.0esr or 102.1.0 to 102.2.0 should be possible. Firefox 102.0esr and 102.1.0 and 102.2.0 have been released as pre-release versions to allow admins to prepare for the transfer from 91 ESR to 102 ESR that will happen with the 102.3.0 release. Thew current Firefox 91.13.0 release is the last version for the 91 ESR branch and currently you can only install 102 ESR by installing this version yourself via the version selector.
Fx 91 ESR users will not get a update to Fx 102 ESR until the Fx 102.3.0 ESR as Fx 91.13 ESR will be the last one for the old Fx 91 ESR and will be EOL then.
The screenshot shows you have the "ManualAppUpdateOnly": true policy active, either via GPO or via policy.json, so you can only update manually.

Hello cor-el:
I did notice that manual update was selected too. I changed it and reloaded FF. It had not effect.
Thanks for all your comments and info. It seems I should have been more patient.

Did you remove all update related policies and verified this via about:policies, so the default would be applied ?
Hello Corel:
Here are the current policies
