About: Config not working. Instead, typing this shows search engine results.
I am trying to disable auto-refresh on my tabs when I minimize them, but when I type 'about: config' into the address bar, it just shows search engine results instead of opening it as an actual URL. I have already gone into settings and disabled all search suggestions, and it's still doing it anyway.
What am I supposed to be doing here? I spent tons of time in the support community looking for fixes to my problem and all I found were people telling me to use Nightly, but I don't want to give up basic capabilities like printing etc.
Thanks!

Ah, so it's an ongoing bug for firefox. Unfortunate, but I am happy to at least know I am not the only one with this issue! I was having problems finding info about it in the support community, but I guess I wasn't wording my queries correctly. Thank you! Very helpful!

Hi
About:config is avalable in the beta and Nightly versions of Firefox for Android. Printing is not currently supported but is something that I understand that our developers are looking into.
My understanding that is that the auto refresh issue had been resolved. Are you using the Beta or Release version of Firefox for Android at present?
According to my 'About Firefox' page in settings, I'm using 99.1.1 I am not sure what version that is.
The issue is that if I'm on a social media dashboard or reading an article in the firefox browser, anytime I minimize the window (even just to share a photo to discord or something) when I come back, the whole page refreshes and I lose the content I was viewing, or I have to scroll all the way down back to my place in the article. I don't like to use apps on my device because I dislike the way they slow the phone down over time, and I'd also rather not give permissions for things to just look at things. This is why I choose to use the Firefox browser
Disabling autorefresh won't help you with this issue.
Okay, thank you for that. Any ideas on what might help?
Please read issue #12731.
