Download speed in Firefox is very slow
All things I try to download on Firefox are extremely slow compared to other apps like Steam, torrents and other apps. I get 90mb/s on the download speed checks, but when I try to download something on Firefox, it downloads at like, 120 KB/s.

I used this command on command prompt (netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled) and it solved my issue.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.
This download manager works separately from the browser.
The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

I tried your method but I didn`t work, the downloads are still around 140KB/s. I tried download a game on steam and on the xbox app just to check and they downloaded at around 20mb/s.
What are you downloading and from what site(s) and can you provide screenshots? In my screenshot I'm downloading an Linux image (4gigs) an you can see the download rate. Also, what is speed are you getting from your provider and is there a router(what model)in between your computer and the internet modem? Behind my router the top speed is about 200mbs, but with my computer plugged directly into the modem I can get around 600-700mbs down. I have not yet got around to buying another router. ;-))

HI I'm having the issue of downloading speed as well and I was wondering if anyone can help. I use to download multiple files, 9 to be exact and they would all get 11mbps of download speed and now all of a sudden it went to 11mbps for all 9 files down to 1.2 to 2.3mbps max and wanted to see if anyone can help me with this issue please. and none of my ssds are full or anything like that

I'm terribly sorry to burst your bubble but I'm afraid to try that solution as I'm afraid it might harm my computer if I use the command box. I am having the very same issue trying to download videos on the internet but the download speed is outrageously slow and I'm still looking for a safer and hopefully a better working solution that might help me download videos faster instead of waiting for minutes or hours. :(
This is my only computer and I cannot afford another one if I lose it. I am not even sure when will I ever buy a laptop if not soon enough.
I hope you can come up with a safer solution instead of using the command box. I would appreciate a better advice.
