It's an add-on, and isn't showing up as a program I can uninstall. It doesn't appear anywhere when I search my computer for it. Hate it hate it hate it. Now what?

hi, you can uninstall addons in the addons manager - go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions ...

Disable or remove Add-ons

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar and search for prefs that refer to the start.me site. You can reset user set (bold) prefs via the right-click context menu to the default value.
