since update 36 firefox is very slow to start (over 1 min)

ever since update to v36 firfox start up time is well over 1 min i have tried clean install/refresh/checked norton firewall setting and adjusted same reboots restarts etc etc nothing is working my end i have never had a prob with FF before (i have IE and Chrome and Waterfox ALL 3 work fine , once firefox has started it runs as per usual it is just the start up
