Firefox 30.0 is so slow since updated. IE & Chrome do not have problems loading pages, showing blank pages, need two or more tries to open webpages.

Firefox 30.0 is so slow since updated. IE & Chrome do not have problems loading pages, showing blank pages, need two or more tries to open webpages. It seems to have something to do with visual data on pages. My homepage msn.com grows old and dies each time I open the page after closing out of firefox and re-opening. It takes forever!! Is it a memory drain? Each page opened in a new firefox session suffers the same fate.

Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences

Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Thanx for the assist, it worked! The "safe" websites come up instantaneously.

I also discovered something interesting when clicking on my Acorntv bookmark to open webpage. The firefox circle goes round n round while a caution icon appears in the link field with a message stating, "This website does not supply identity information". Firefox hangs up for about 10 or so seconds then takes me to the website.
