Can you open up the Mozilla browser? If yes what happens when you try and log into your Gmail account? Any errors?
Yes i can. when i try to log in to my school account on gmail it takes me to a browser where it sends me to my schools website then it automatically is supposed to go to the email. When it gets back to gmail it gets almost to the end of loading and it just stays their it will not finish loading.
Do you have another gmail account, and have you tried logging into it? Plus check with your school and see if there are others with the same issue about gmail logins. Make sure you have the most up to date Mozilla installed as well. Have you tried another browser and is the problem the same?
Clear the Cache Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
and
Remove Cookies Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If there is still a problem,
Start Firefox in Safe Mode
While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked (check the permissions on the about:permissions page).
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
It is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted if clearing cookies doesn't work.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
I am able to access it on my phone throughout the internet and through my ipad. I am also able to open mother gmail accounts..I have cleared everything I can think of. But nothing is making it work
You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Are there any errors present in the Browser Console or Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer)?
You can ignore (hide) the usual CSS errors that show in the console via the toolbar buttons.
You can also check for network errors (use Ctrl+F5 to reload the page).
I have tried everything. I went on my moms computer which she uses google chrome and it worked like its supposed to. I still havent got it to work on firefox
Do you receive an error message or something similar?
Did you try all suggestions that I posted above or didn't you understand some of them and skipped them?
Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
