Firefox 7.0.1 freezes temporarily when searching images on google
When scrolling down the image results in google, firefox temporarily freezes for some seconds, then images load and it freezes again as I continue scrolling down. It also freezes sometimes scrolling up or down when images have already loaded.

The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.
Try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 255 to a setting like 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
