Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Anyway the big blue box is gone and Timeline is working fine.

Sorry, I missed a step in my post above. First, I used SAFE MODE, and my face book page had no Big Blue Box. So this time, using the SAFE MODE box I turned off all Add ons. Then I started to turn each add on in REGULAR MODE until I found the culprit (GreaseMonkey)...
