Whenever I try to go on certain websites, I get a blank page and the following text on the tab "GIF Image, 1x1 pixels". I've checked with a second computer which works fine. Is it some settings that need to be done?

Some firewalls like Kaspersky can block content and send a 1x1 GIF image instead.

Kaspersky": "Protection > Firewall > Filtration system: disable the "Banner Ad Blocker"

Hi cor-el,

Thanks for the pointer. I've looked into my Kaspersky Internet Security and configured the filtering of banner ads (use white list of addresses) for the problematic websites. In one case, it worked but in another, the same problem persists.

Is the problem with Firefox or with KIS?

Thanks

I would assume that it is a problem with KIS. It is possible that you haven't specified the correct domain. Does it work if you disable that feature entirely instead of using a white list?
